Why Digestible Exists
~15% of the world suffers from IBS, but most treatments are missing a big piece of the puzzle: the brain-gut connection.
Brain-Gut Approach
What most people haven't been told:
✅ IBS is a disorder of gut-brain interaction
✅ Symptoms are real and reversible
✅ People with IBS experience increased pain sensitivity in the gut
✅ Stress and emotions often play a bigger role than you may think
Digestible focuses on nervous system regulation and emotional processing, which have been found to significantly reduce symptom severity, improve quality of life, and alleviate anxiety and stress.
Gut-Centered Approach
What you may have been told:
❌ IBS is incurable
❌ Your IBS is caused by what you eat
❌ Symptoms can only be managed
❌ You need to learn to live with it
❌ Your treatment options are limited to medications, supplements, or diets
This approach fails patients.
Only 49% of IBS patients are at least somewhat better 6 months after seeking treatment (Whitehead et al, 2006).
You are not broken. Healing is possible.

Meet Our Leadership Team
Digestible was founded by people who’ve lived through the frustration of trying to manage chronic digestive symptoms — and knew there had to be a better way. We created Digestible to offer the kind of clarity, support, and effective treatment we wish we'd had.

Anna Olivieri | Co-founder
After years of debilitating digestive issues and chronic pain, at one point eating only five different foods, Anna discovered the life-changing power of the brain-gut approach. When it felt like she had tried everything, she finally found something that gave her lasting relief and helped her reclaim her life.
Anna leads content and design at Digestible, blending her background in psychology, healthcare technology, and user experience to create an IBS-specific program she wishes she had during her own healing. She’s passionate about making the brain-gut approach accessible, empowering others to feel seen, supported, and capable of true recovery.

Vincent Olivieri | Co-founder
With over a decade of experience building digital tools in healthcare technology, Vincent has led products that improve access, simplify complexity, and drive meaningful change.
But Digestible is personal. After witnessing his wife Anna’s painful struggle with IBS, and seeing her fully recover through brain-gut regulation, he was inspired to help bring that same relief to others. Together, they created Digestible: the first brain-gut regulation app for IBS.
Now leading product and strategy, Vincent is on a mission to eliminate IBS from the face of the planet, one nervous system at a time.
